South Jersey Group 1

(1) Haddonfield 10, (2) Rumson-Fair Haven 9

Senior Riley Austin scored four goals, as the Bulldawgs (18-2) edged the Bulldogs (16-6) for the sectional title.

Rumson rallied from a 10-7 deficit in the fourth quarter to cut the score to 10-9, but Haddonfield won a draw control with 2:26 remaining in the game and successfully played keep-away for the remaining duration of the game.

Junior attacker Chloe Kelly poured in a game-high five goals in the loss.

The Bulldogs will graduate three critical seniors in Chase Memmott, Reagan Haley, and Maddie DeSena.

Rumson will return a host of talent led by Kelly, Harbour Goldsmith, and Sydney Kiernan, and should be well-positioned to be one of the top Shore Conference teams in 2027.
